Time Smarts: Practical Productivity & Time Management Strategies for Modern Teams

Tuesday, April 7, 2:45 PM

Modern teams are juggling constant demands—Slack messages, shifting priorities, email overload, and the pressure to stay responsive in a fast-paced environment. Research shows that employees lose significant time each day to interruptions and unstructured work, making intentional time management a critical skill for today’s workplace.

In this session, Workology founder and Time Smarts creator Jessica Miller-Merrell introduces practical, immediately usable strategies to help leaders and teams work with more clarity, efficiency, and focus. You’ll explore common productivity traps, learn how to structure your day around high-value work, and apply frameworks like the TEA (Time–Energy–Attention) model, time blocking, task prioritization, and the Eisenhower Matrix.

Participants will complete a short reflective exercise to identify where their time is actually going and uncover the hidden drains affecting performance. You’ll learn how to set realistic boundaries, streamline communication, and create daily habits that support deep work rather than constant reactivity. The session wraps with a personalized 30-Day Productivity Pledge so every participant leaves with a clear, actionable next step.

Designed for busy professionals and leaders, this session provides simple, effective tools—not theory—that help teams reduce burnout, reclaim focus, and build healthier, more productive workflows.
